First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grupo Arcor.
Analyst
It was a virtual interview with a consultant. It lasted about 1 hour. Then, they asked me why I was interested in the position and the company specifically. I prepared for this question by researching the company's culture and current projects beforehand, which allowed me to give an authentic and well-founded answer. One of the most challenging questions was about how I handled a complicated problem in a previous project. I described a significant challenge I faced, highlighting my focus on resolution and the positive outcomes. It was a good moment to demonstrate my problem-solving ability and my capacity to work under pressure.
- Had I the opportunity to ask questions? I asked about the team's future projects and professional growth opportunities within the company.
Project Analyst
I started with a virtual interview with HR, which was personal, not a group setting, and felt friendly and warm. A few weeks later, I had an interview with the management and my potential boss. It was scheduled for an hour but felt so relaxed that it ended up lasting 1.30hrs, and I honestly didn't even notice the time passing.
- No difficult questions were asked.
Analyst
I participated in a selection process for a position in the city of Campinas, where the interview was conducted by an extremely arrogant and rude manager. Besides not bothering to show empathy, she used ableist expressions, showing a total lack of care and social awareness. It is necessary to review the criteria and behavioral skills for leadership positions, as these reflect the company's image.
- Questions were asked regarding deadlines, deliverables, and outcomes.
