Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grundfos.
Applications Engineer
So, the interview process involves three rounds. First, there's a phone screen. Then, you'll have a technical interview with a panel. Finally, you'll do an onsite interview.
- Can you tell me why you think you're a great fit for this role and why you applied?
- What makes you a good candidate for this position, and what motivated you to apply?
Field Service Engineer
The interview process had 2 stages, and then a psychometric profiling. First you filled out a questionnaire (personality and situational judgement) before talking to the senior service engineer. Second was with the field service and HR manager, which was more about benefits once you were selected.
- What frustrates you in your job?
- Can you tell us about your strengths and weaknesses?
- How would you assure us that your weaknesses wouldn't negatively affect your work?
Applications Engineer
The interview process began with a phone interview that focused on my background and professional experience, without any engineering technical questions. The planned structure was a phone interview, followed by an in-person panel interview with HR, an engineering lead, and a manager. The final interview would have been with my immediate engineering supervisor. I received an email a week after the initial phone interview informing me that I did not get the job.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What led you to pursue a career in this industry?
- What do you consider to be your weaknesses?
