The interview process with Grow Therapy was really well put together, they communicated well, and it moved pretty quickly. I really liked the company and their culture because of it. I had 3 interviews before a take home assessment, and then one last interview to review it. Everyone I talked to was great – professional, engaging, and seemed really passionate about what they do. It was an amazing candidate experience!

The process started with a 30-minute chat with a recruiter where we covered general 'tell me about yourself' type stuff and what I'm looking for career-wise. After that, I had to do a take-home data analysis assessment. The next step was an interview with the hiring manager, but it felt super robotic, like we didn't have a real conversation. It seemed like they didn't interview much because it was so weirdly structured, like 'I'm going to ask you 6 questions... 1st question...'. It was strange. They also used words like 'sexy and cool' to describe the job. When I thanked them, they just said the recruiter would follow up and then said 'Later.' It felt unprofessional and like I wasn't being taken seriously. After all that and the long assessment, I got a generic automated rejection email with no feedback allowed due to company policy. They should really do the hiring manager interview before the assessment to save candidates time.

The interview process starts with a 30-minute phone screen. After that, there's a take-home assessment which is unpaid and takes at least 10 hours to complete because it's pretty involved. Then, you'll have a 30-minute chat with a team member, but surprise, another team member joins to listen in and answer questions. The final step is a meeting with a senior leader. Fair warning: after the final interview, it took them 3 weeks to decide, and communication was spotty and unclear, including a 2-week ghosting period. Also, no feedback was given on the assessment that took hours, making it feel like a waste. The team seems disorganized and doesn't communicate well internally. Expect to put in 15+ hours for a chance of being ghosted or led on.
