The initial screening call was not a good experience, leaving me with a poor impression of the company. They were late to the call, didn't greet me, introduce themselves, or allow for introductions. The conversation felt rushed, and they read from a script in a monotone voice. They weren't interested in discussing the role or the company, nor understanding my background or what I'm looking for. They mentioned a take-home writing assessment of 3-4 hours, which I wasn't keen on, especially since others on Glassdoor reported being ghosted after completing such assessments.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with an initial screening call with a recruiter. After that, I had a take-home assessment, and the final stage was a panel interview. The company was really good about scheduling calls quickly and also followed up promptly after each session.

Behavioral Technical Coding System Design

Initial contact with a recruiter was smooth and scheduling was quick. Then had a phone screen with the CTO. After that, a take-home coding challenge. The final round was a remote 'onsite' with the product and engineering teams, including behavioral and technical interviews. Everyone I met was smart, kind, and passionate about the mission. The tech people were very sharp. While I thought my interviews went well, I didn't get an offer. The only reason I'm giving a negative overall rating is because they don't give interview feedback.
