The HR interview was really long and draining, going for almost an hour with tons of questions about fitting in, past jobs, and if I'm okay with coming into the office. I think I came across well, though. They rejected me before I even got to do the technical test, which is what really shows what someone can do. They said they picked someone who could start sooner, but since they have a bunch of jobs open, that explanation felt off. It was like the HR person was just deciding based on vibes instead of actual skills.

The interview was awful. They asked questions that had nothing to do with the job, and they didn't even look at the take-home assignment. It was a complete waste of my time and energy.

First, there was an HR call where the recruiter talked about the company and the role, and I got to ask questions. Then, I was invited for an on-site visit. I met with a senior software engineer, a PO, and the CTO to talk about my technical skills and experience. After that, I got a take-home task, which I completed in 5 days, and that was fine. Then, I had a call with the same senior engineer to go over the task and my approach. The last call was a technical one with the team I might join; I spoke with the lead and two engineers who were friendly and answered my questions about the role. Finally, I got an offer.
