First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Groupe SEB.
Project Manager
First a quick HR phone call to set up a full video interview. Then, a more in-depth HR interview followed by a manager interview a few days later. The third interview was with the VP of marketing and was more complex. After a full process and positive verbal feedback, there was radio silence, no consideration for candidates. The HR team didn't even bother to call for a debrief and to conclude the process. A negative email response, couldn't reach HR for constructive feedback despite many attempts. Disappointing and to be avoided if you expect any consideration.
- Tell me about your background, motivations, and other standard questions, nothing tricky.
Chef de Projet
It started with a first phone call with HR, followed by an in-person meeting with both HR and the manager. This second meeting involved a standard interview plus 2 or 3 tests to check your knowledge or confirm advanced skills listed on your CV. They also aim for an informal chat to understand your personality better. Just be yourself!
- How would you have handled this situation?
Quality Project Manager
The interview process consisted of 4 rounds, after which the company became unresponsive. Initially, the company indicated the position was filled after the first interview, but later reached out, stating the candidate was not validated and they wished to proceed. This led to three additional rounds before they ceased communication. The HR representative demonstrated a lack of professionalism by frequently interrupting and posing technical questions outside their apparent expertise or experience.
- Nothing special, standard interview questions.
