The interview process at GDI was super long. I had to do 10 rounds of interviews and a test, and it took three months. They also did a reference and background check. The worst part was the total silence after my last interview. I tried reaching out to the hiring manager and HR a bunch of times for feedback, but they never responded. It's unprofessional to leave candidates hanging like that, especially after they've put in so much time. Companies should communicate better, even with bad news. This experience makes me question their internal culture. Respect and transparency are key, and GDI didn't deliver.

The first part of the process was an assessment test with multiple-choice questions. After that, I had a personal interview where they asked about my past job experiences and things related to the current job.

The whole interview process spanned about two and a half weeks. It started with an interview with the Store Manager, followed by a phone interview with the District Supervisor. Next, there was an online personality test and background check. Finally, I had an in-person interview with the District Supervisor. It was a pretty standard and straightforward process for retail, though a bit unorganized. Everyone in management was nice and made me feel welcome.
