First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Greystar.
Marketing Manager
It was a really conversational interview process. I felt like we had a good back-and-forth, and I thought I did well, but they had poor follow-up and sent a generic rejection email pretty quickly after we had gone through several interviews. The questions they asked felt pretty superficial rather than strategic.
- What makes you want to apply for this job?
Digital Marketing Manager
I only went through the initial interview since the salary offered wasn't what I was looking for, so I decided to stop the process. Other than that, everything was good, and I'd suggest interviewing with them. They at least reply to emails, unlike many other companies.
- Could you describe your overall experience?
- What are your interests?
- What are you hoping to find in this new position?
Marketing Manager
I had an initial screening with the recruiter, then an online psych test through PeopleAnswers. After that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, and then they invited me to fly out for an in-person interview. During that interview, the Director mentioned I was a strong candidate and recommended I interview with Marketing the next week. That interview also went well, and before I left, she indicated she would approve an offer. Two days later, the recruiter contacted me to say they had "changed direction" for reasons unknown to her. Getting my travel reimbursement required quite a bit of follow-up over a month.
- Can you describe what you were like in high school?
