They gave an online objective test first, then a subjective test. After that, there was a technical interview. The first technical objective test was mostly about 3D printing and other manufacturing methods. There were also a few questions about different types of failures in machine elements.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Tell me about 3D printing.

I applied during college recruiting. It was a three round process. The first round was a hackerrank quiz covering fundamental mechanical engineering design concepts, including thread specifications and questions about mechanisms and materials, with a 0.25 penalty for wrong answers. The second round was a pen and paper test. One question was: 'The objective is to keep the camera pointing at a particular point on ground, while it is fitted on a drone. Design a mechanism for the same.' The final round was a phone call where they asked questions about my resume, and they actually called twice.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Regarding a drone with a camera aimed at a specific ground point, propose a mechanism to maintain that orientation.

They start with basic questions about manufacturing processes and material science. For example, they might ask you to identify all the processes and materials used in making a window. Follow-up questions will be based on your previous answers. They also ask basic mechanics questions about toppling and sliding conditions.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • How is the window built, what are the basics of manufacturing processes, and what technical internships or projects have you done?
