Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The first step was a phone call with the Group Product Manager/Hiring Manager, where they went over basic info about my background and interest in the role, and I got to learn more about Greenhouse and the Senior PM position. Then, I did a Technical Case study with the Group PM and Head of Engineering. This was to see if I could use product sense, handle competing priorities, and explain my decisions for a hypothetical engineering team, and they gave me some prep material for a brainstorming session. After that, there was a feedback check with a Technical Talent Acquisition Manager. The next part was a two-day virtual interview that included a Product Interview, a Technical/Engineering Interview, a Design Interview, a Hiring Interview, and another quick feedback check-in with the Technical Talent Acquisition Manager. The whole Greenhouse interview process was really structured and clear, with great communication between stages. They were nice and polite. Sadly, I didn't make it to the final stage.

Behavioral Technical

My experience with this company's interview process was quite negative. It began with an HR phone screen, then a take-home assignment, and a phone interview with the product manager. Overall, it was okay, but the HR person handled communication poorly. After the initial screen, he was concerned about salary alignment and contacted my referrer instead of me directly to confirm my willingness to accept a pay cut, which I found unprofessional. Despite this, I proceeded, and received good feedback on the take-home and the PM interview. I was then invited for an on-site, but the HR person didn't confirm the time for six days, despite my repeated emails. I rearranged personal and work commitments for the interview day, only to find out the position was filled internally the day before, and I learned this through my friend again. While I'm okay with not getting the job, the unprofessional and disrespectful communication, especially regarding the timing and the way I found out the position was filled, was very disappointing.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

I had a really good time interviewing with Greenhouse. The interview process was pretty standard for a Product Manager role: Recruiter screen, then the Hiring Manager, followed by the Head of Product. After that, I had a take-home assignment with a presentation. Then came interviews with Engineering, Design, and PMM. Finally, we had a case study discussion. Everyone I met was really nice, paid attention, and was super professional.
