I liked talking to the hiring manager, but the recruiter was really slow to reply and wouldn't email me back for ages. After the second interview, I got rejected, and when I asked for feedback, I was totally ghosted.

The hiring process was very clear and well-communicated throughout. I spoke with individuals who had deep knowledge of the ATS field, as well as their own roles and the positions they were interviewing candidates for. The best part was the smooth communication with two HR team members who gave me prompt updates, so I always knew what was happening next. Even though it took a while, Greenhouse really does 'hire better' with a process that uses data for unbiased decisions.

Behavioral Presentation

I had a phone call with HR, then a phone call with an account manager. After that, I had to create and give a presentation about a product to a team of account managers using GoTo Meeting. It was disappointing to put in time outside of work for calls and a presentation, only to not move forward to the final in-person meeting. I usually ask if there are any concerns, but no one mentioned my lack of recruiting or SaaS product training experience, which HR said was the reason I didn't advance. I get that someone with more experience might be better, but I wish there was more transparency, especially from a recruiting company.
