Curriculum Developer
First, you'll have a chat with the recruiter, then another call with HR. After that, there's a pretty involved vetting task and an interview with the hiring team. You'll have some more back and forth with the recruiter and HR before they extend an offer and you accept.
- Can you complete a task relevant to this role?
Curriculum Developer
I applied online and a week after, I had a phone screener with a recruiter. We talked about general job info, including salary and travel, and they asked basic qualifying questions. Then, I had a phone interview with two people where they asked questions specific to the role, like my experience with curriculum and the content area. The next step involved a task. I had to review a curriculum sample based on question prints and reflect on that experience. The final round was a Zoom interview with several team members. The whole process took about two months from start to finish. They really need to speed things up. Two months and four interactions for a non-manager role feels like too much. I did appreciate that after I got the rejection, the hiring manager offered to meet and provide feedback.
- Can you give an example of an excellent curriculum you have encountered?
Curriculum Developer
The first interview was just a phone call. The interviewer was on time, nice, and thoughtful. We talked about what to expect in the rest of the interview process and how long it might take if things move forward.
