Actuarial Intern
Applied online and got an email about a preliminary phone interview. Then had two 45 minute interviews, one with the predictive analytics department and one with the corporate actuary department. Two interviewers with each interview.
- Regarding the actuarial exams you have taken, how did you prepare for them?
Actuarial Analyst
Standard interview process involving meeting a few different people and having lunch at a restaurant. The whole thing lasted from eight in the morning until about three in the afternoon. Everyone was really friendly, and it seemed like a cool place to work.
- Tell me about your experience using SQL.
Actuarial Intern
I had an interview with two people simultaneously. It was about an hour long, and while there wasn't a formal technical interview, we discussed my past experiences quite a bit. The interviewers were really friendly and seemed engaged throughout our talk.
