Marketing Representative
The interview process felt misleading and unnecessarily long for what the role turned out to be. It's advertised as marketing, but it's actually a direct sales role. They don't tell you the day-to-day tasks upfront, or the long 9 am to 7:30 pm workdays unless you specifically ask. Even the location for the second interview was deceptive; it was in a nice office, but that was just a short, unpaid 3-hour meeting. The actual job involves going to various Walmart stores, including some with low foot traffic. They make it sound like marketing, but it's purely commission-based sales. The questions asked didn't really relate to what you'd be doing. They also never mentioned the specific campaigns the agency works on in the job posting. It's nothing like how it was advertised and definitely too good to be true.

Management Training Program
I had an initial in-person interview with the hiring manager, and was supposed to have a second confirmation interview after that. But, I never got an official follow-up, and the company has pretty much ghosted me since. The hiring manager said he'd get back to me within a couple weeks, which was three months ago. From what I've heard from other applicants, this is actually something they do a lot – they rarely tell you if you're rejected, don't give you any heads-up about the next steps, and sometimes even imply you're moving forward before just disappearing. Applicants: be aware that these people are not helpful at all during the process and might drop your application anytime without you knowing. GraySquare: you need to be more professional with your potential applicants. You said in the first interview that you really care about this; show it with your actions.

Customer Service Representative
I put in my application online and then got an email to do a phone interview with a manager. After that, they invited me to Philadelphia for an in-person interview. I was expecting to meet the same manager I talked to on the phone, but it ended up being someone from her team. Me and another person who applied were taken to a room for the interview. They talked about the company structure and asked us some questions to see how qualified we were and if we would fit in. Afterwards, they walked us out separately. They told me there would be a third interview, which was a follow-up phone call.
- How would you say you are a good fit for this company?

- What are the two different types of marketing?
Sales Manager
I had a phone call to get the first interview set up. They offered me the choice between Skype or Google Hangouts for it. The first interview was on Skype and lasted about 25 minutes. It was mostly about my personal background. The second interview was in person in Northern Liberties, Philadelphia. It was a 60-minute interview focused on things like company projections, company goals, daily duties, what kind of training is available, and compensation.
- Can you work effectively without close supervision?
- What are your career aspirations for the next three years?
- What are your preferred methods for motivation and how do you best handle constructive criticism?
