Graduate Development Program
Trying to get the first interview was very difficult as HR at this company is very, very bad. Unorganized isn't even in it. First interview needed to be rescheduled, I put this down to an error and progressed but it happened to the second round interview too. They ask your salary expectations in the first interview but what is the point if you put graduates on £21,500 with no negotiation? They also don't put the salary on their job adverts and make you wait to find out and isn't transparent. No mention of training costs found out using glassdoor. Ask very personal questions of which other companies you've applied for and want you to disclose that information when they aren't fully open with you. Wasn't happy when I said I wanted to stay central to a city and didn't have a car/license when this wasn't described in the job advert. Also how can you expect graduates to have this when you're only paying £21,500? Whole process was what you could do for Grayce but not how they could develop you. I had to ask extra questions about training. Job adverts are fake. They advertise a graduate project manager job but don't mention the development scheme or in fact you are only a project analyst. Only benefit is some of the clients are good but the treatment through the process opened my eyes to the culture.
- Which company is driving change in the business environment?
- Can you tell me your salary expectations?
- What other companies are you interviewing with?
Graduate Development Program
I applied online via the website, and the entire process wrapped up in under three weeks. My interview journey with Grayce kicked off in September 2020. It started with a quick phone interview, and I got feedback the very next day. After that, I was set up for a face-to-face meeting with a Delivery Manager, with less than a day's notice. This part required me to prep a presentation and tackle an Excel assessment, on top of a competency-based interview, which was quite stressful. Feedback came again the following day. Then, four days later, I had a final interview with another Delivery Manager. This was to ensure I was a good fit for the company and that my values and skills aligned with both the company and a client. Apparently, this was a new step added due to COVID. I heard back two days after that and was successful, getting a formal offer instead of a conditional one. This meant the business was fully committed to me, not just if I found a client. The whole experience was super intense and fast-paced. But honestly, the recruitment team and the Delivery Managers I met were really nice and friendly, making things much smoother. Special shoutout to Sarah Cockerill, who really went the extra mile, improving my offer including salary and speeding up the program. She even matched me with a client before I'd officially signed anything. Plus, there are great training and development prospects.

Graduate Development Program
It was a 30 minute first round interview that touched on behaviours and qualities, and some commercial awareness. It was straightforward and relaxed, and they asked a lot of information that had already been completed in the application process. The second round was an hour-long interview with a prepared data task and presentation. There were no follow up questions from the presentation or data analysis; most of the interview focused on behaviours, company values, and commercial awareness. I didn't perform as well as I'd hoped in the interview so didn't expect to progress, but I was given no follow up communication or feedback (I was told I would hear back within 7 working days and given feedback). It was disappointing considering I prepared a 15 min presentation for the interview.
- How do you align with the company values?
- What makes you unique?
- What skills do you possess that would contribute to your success in this role?
