Outside Sales Representative
My interview process took almost a month and resulted in no offer. Two of my initial interviews were rescheduled due to GP issues, but none of this was taken into consideration. The process included a phone screen with the recruiter which went well, followed by an interview prep session. Unfortunately, the team canceled my initial interview due to a payment outage. Then there was an interview with two Outside Sales team Managers, followed by additional questions and a personality test. The final stage was an interview with the regional Sales Manager & Management Associate. Be prepared that you'll be doing a lot of work just to get to a "final" interview. Additionally, know that specific metrics that have been verbalized to you at the beginning of the process (30 in-person visits per day) will most-likely change once you get to the end of the process (50 in-person visits per day, verbalized by one of the final interviewers). While I have no idea how any of this is physically possible -- it's something you want to note. Don't waste your time here. Read other interviews and know that your metrics/KPIs will most likely change on a weekly basis, reflected in the fact that it happened to me just within an interview process. Good luck!
- Could you tell me about the metrics you've been measured against and your results?
- What were your results concerning the metrics you were measured against?
- Describe the metrics you have been measured against, along with your results.
Outside Sales Representative
First I had to make a 2 minute video talking about my personal SWOT analysis, then complete an online personality test. After that, there was a 30 minute phone interview with standard questions. They seemed impressed I had researched the company and CEO. My advice is to check out their website. Then I had a 1 hour face to face interview with 2 sales managers. They were polite except at the end when they showed me out and barely said thanks or shook my hand, felt dismissive. I noticed about 20 people in the office, all seemed under 40. Maybe this is a good company for younger folks but I'm not sure they hire older people.
- Tell me about your hobbies.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced?
- When considering your career, what holds more importance: financial gain or contributing positively?
Sales Representative
The interview process was really professional and nice. You can tell that everyone on the Team is invested in the company and their work. It was tough but in a good way that makes you think and only makes you more excited about the chance to work with everyone involved.
- Given my interest in the product, what makes it the superior choice?
- Why should I choose your product over others?
