The hiring process felt really disjointed. A senior dev reached out to me directly, not a recruiter, so I had a technical interview and a code project before the initial recruiter chat. They said they were trying new things with hiring, but it seemed like that wasn't supposed to happen. The recruiter was super positive, almost like I was already hired, but you could tell they were stressed about the chaotic process. Then, someone else accidentally sent me the personality assessment, which was supposed to be the last step. The recruiter called the next day to say I got the wrong one and asked if I'd completed it, which was weird since they said I shouldn't have gotten it at all. They said they'd check if it was the right one anyway. A few days later, I got a rejection email, no apology for the assessment mix-up. It felt like I was caught in some internal company drama.

The hiring process was really disorganized and slow. The HR team seemed unfocused, and there were no updates for me as an applicant. The interviewers didn't seem prepared and weren't really engaged. Make sure you're ready to answer questions before you start asking them!
