Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Grapecity.
Senior Software Engineer
The interview had a really kind and understanding vibe. It was a smooth process, and the person interviewing me was nice. They asked some straightforward questions about frontend, backend, and how APIs are designed. Then, we moved on to a coding part that was mainly about logical thinking.
- Could you design a nested API and then show how to retrieve the deepest piece of data within it?
Software Developer
It included four parts: an online test, an interview, a technical interview, and then the final round. It was all about practical knowledge and ideology. The staff was really helpful and made things easy and good.
- Can you explain Oops concepts?
- What about DOM?
- And SQL?
Software Engineer
I applied through college placements, and out of 300 students, 80 were called to the company for a pen and paper test. (I cheated in the first round, that's why I got a chance to give the pen and paper test). It included C++ output-based questions, which I was unable to do, and only 10 students went to the interview, and finally, 1 guy got selected (which was not me).
- What are the outputs of these C++ code snippets?
- Explain Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- Tell me about your projects.
