First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Granite Telecommunications.
Project Coordinator
The interview was pleasant. However, I did not get a chance to talk about the job description nor go into depth about the day to day activity process. The interviewer was looking for the right behavioral company fit rather than testing the applicants ability. Therefore, having proper ethical behavior is a must. The interviewer encourages people to read the scenario and be able to understand from peoples perspectives rather than reacting to emotional ideas.
- Given a scenario where you have 200 emails to read, how would you handle it?
Project Coordinator
It was a pretty easy interview process. First, there was the recruiter phone call, then a 20-minute Zoom with a hiring manager, and finally another 20-30 minute Zoom with a different hiring manager. They didn't ask anything I couldn't answer. The pay is $21.67/hour in RI for full-time Project Coordinators. They offer 1 day remote to start, with the possibility of 2 days after 6 months if performance is good. There are also 16 days of PTO.

- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Project Coordinator
I applied through my university's website and was contacted by an internal recruiter. I had about 4-5 calls with the recruiter and 2 with their manager. They gave me a verbal offer which I accepted. The recruiter said they'd email the contract details and we set up a call to discuss my start date. However, I never heard back from them again despite following up. It's unclear what happened or why they didn't inform me of any changes. The whole process lasted about two weeks.
