The process really made me think logically, which was great for clear thinking and solving problems. It was easy to get my ideas across, especially since they were cool with pseudocode, so I didn't have to stress about exact syntax. Also, the LLD and HLD discussions were super organized and in-depth. I got a really good grasp of the system, both architecturally and how it would be built, making the whole thing flow well and be easy to follow.

Technical Other

I applied online for an Associate Software Engineer role and after a while, they got back to me. Following a phone screening, I was told I'd have to complete an easy online aptitude test and then a coding challenge. I thought the assessment would be straightforward, but it involved answering 50 questions unrelated to programming or the job in just 15 minutes. I was rushing to answer them, aiming for no more than 15 seconds per question. After submitting the assessment, I got an email saying my results weren't good enough and they were proceeding with another candidate. I never even got to the coding challenge. I feel like this is just HR nonsense, and a technical role shouldn't be hired this way, but that's how it is.
