Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview first. Then I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. During the in-person, I had to listen to phone calls and had a pretty good conversation with the interviewer. She seemed to forget her questions at one point and had to look them up. I was told I'd hear back in two days, but I got the response in less than an hour. Even though I had the experience, qualifications, and skills for the job, they didn't hire me. Given the company's reviews, I wouldn't recommend applying or moving forward. It felt like a waste of time and money.

The interview process is quite an experience, even though it's long! It starts with group interviews where you're split into teams to build a vessel out of straws and tape for an egg drop. After that, you'll need to pitch a trip for the egg. This is to check how well everyone works individually and as a team. I'd suggest going into this with an open mind. Then, there's a test on how well you use resources. While waiting for your one-on-one, you'll listen to a call to understand the nature of the job. It's a really fun company, and they're willing to train people who align with their values, even if they don't have much experience. There are great opportunities here.
- During the group interview, your team will be given a "difficult world event" scenario. You will have a few minutes to decide and then present how you would personally handle the crisis you were assigned. It's intimidating but very realistic for the industry.
Customer Service Specialist
We had a group interview, with about 12 candidates for different jobs. First, we all shared personal experiences and what makes us unique. Then, the big group split into four smaller teams to tackle specific challenges together. They were watching how we worked together, looking for leaders and problem solvers versus those who were quiet. After each challenge, one person from each team presented their solution. This whole group part took several hours. Afterwards, we waited while the interviewers discussed who would move on to meet with department managers. The lead interviewer then called out the names of those selected for the next round.
- Can you give an example of a time you had to step up as a leader? Tell me about the situation, what you did, and what happened as a result.
- Tell us about something unique about yourself.
- What was a challenge your team faced and how did you work together to solve it?
