Applied via referral and had an interview, it was pretty quick and standard, nothing too out there.

Behavioral Case Presentation

Got in through an employee referral. There were 4 interview rounds after the initial HR screening. The interviews focused on my background and experience. They were really keen on knowing if I'd be willing to take on tasks outside my defined job scope, which is something to highlight if you're considering Grab, as it seems everyone is pulled in different directions. You really need to be a self-starter there; if you need a lot of structure, it might be tough. They also mentioned that you're expected to handle your own training since they operate much like a startup with minimal onboarding, which could be challenging if you prefer a structured environment. The final round involved a case study on their product, which I had to present to a panel of 2-3 people.

Behavioral Technical

I had an interview with the hiring manager and another person in the same role I applied for. They asked standard questions like "what is your weakness" and "have you face any failure in life" and "why do you want to leave your current job". Everything went well until they asked about my expected salary. They wanted to know my current pay, but they wouldn't tell me the budgeted salary for this position. I sent them a thank you note afterward, but they never replied or gave me any update on the interview outcome.
