First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at GP Strategies.
Learning Specialist
First, they review your resume and cover letter. If you seem like a good fit, you move on. Then, there's a recruiter or HR call to check your qualifications, talk about your experience, and discuss salary expectations and when you could start.
- What's your notice period?
- What are your expected earnings in LPA?
Learning Specialist
GP Strategies has a really straightforward and efficient interview process. You apply, and if they like your application, a recruiter will reach out for a brief chat, usually under 20 minutes, to ask a few questions. If the recruiter is happy with your answers, you'll then move on to an interview with the hiring manager. There aren't a lot of technical questions; they're more focused on whether you can do the job. It's just two stages, and you're done.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your background and experience?
Training Coordinator
Applied online. Got a call from the Implementation manager onsite at Cisco systems (each site is different). Scheduled a 1:1 interview. Had a form from which she asked standard questions. Quick interview and I felt like it went really badly. A week later I got a call from the Supervisor and she had a phone interview with me. That went really well. A week later I got a call from the HR rep. and she offered me the job.
- What learning management systems have you worked with?
- Do you have experience with standard interview questions?
