You'll chat with the store manager first, then the district manager, and finally the sales director for the whole area. They'll want to know why you're interested in this role, how you heard about the opportunity, and why you want to join their team. Be sure to bring your resume along.

Sales Representative
Back in 2010, when I got hired, I made a resume and personally gave it to a manager. He liked that I had cell phone experience with AT&T. Two days later, I got a call for a 10-minute phone screen where they asked basic questions. Then, I had an in-person interview with the District Manager and store manager, and I got the job right there. Nowadays, I think they have you fill out an application online and wait for a call. My personal advice is to do that, wait a few days, and then follow up. Or, you could dress sharp, hand in your resume directly to a hiring manager, and impress them in person - that might speed things up.
- Who are you?
- Do you have a sales background?
- Can you balance being a salesperson, customer care, and tech support all at the same time?
Wireless Consultant
It was quick and to the point. It's sales-oriented with incentives. You should get ready to: Do presentations for internet and wireless phone services in public places. Know the brand's technology really well to help clients fix their devices. Help end-users fix their devices on-site and remotely at other Samsung places. Work with network implementation managers and design teams to get internet circuits launched. Go to training, both formal and informal, to learn more about Verizon tech and services to help customers better. Talk on the phone about how cellular equipment works to explain how to use it and to fix problems.
- What is your first and last name?
Store Manager
The District Manager reached out to me to schedule an interview for the Store Manager position for the very next day. This was the initial interview and it was pretty laid back, not too many tough questions. It sounds like this particular store is really struggling to find staff, and the manager who interviewed me mentioned that the store has been poorly managed for about a year, which is why they're currently hiring.
- What would be your 30-day plan if you were to get the job?
