It was a typical process with an online panel interview, followed by another interview and an assessment to submit. Nice company, but they had already filled the position.

The interview process was quite good. It started with an email from HR saying I was selected for an assessment. This assessment was a two-hour policy writing test. They gave me a template and some information about the pros and cons of a particular topic and asked me to write a policy brief. After that, I had an interview with two people.

Behavioral Technical

It took a few weeks, maybe a month, from applying to getting interviewed. I've interviewed with the GoA before; they're usually 60 minutes long with a 3-person panel. Expect questions about your broad awareness, how you work, and how you interact with people, like 'tell me about a time when...' scenarios. They tend to offer less than the max advertised salary, so if you get an offer, try to negotiate your wage/classification because it's tough to change it once you start.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • I was asked how I was enjoying the bad weather
