Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole thing took about a month and a half: First, there was a pre-screen survey asking about my background, when I'm free, and a couple of behavioral questions. Then, I had a written assignment which was pretty cool, asking how I'd improve a specific metric. After that, it was onsite where I had 3, 30-minute interviews with PMs/senior PMs covering UX design, analytics, product execution, and some behavioral stuff. They always left time for my questions at the end.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • For each interview, they started with some behavioral questions then asked 1-2 questions on the topic they were assessing (UX design, analytics, product execution, etc.).
  • The interviewers always made time for questions in the end.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

So I went through the hiring process at GoPuff recently and wanted to share. The recruiter was nice and all, but the whole thing felt really disorganized and poorly communicated. The job ad said remote, but then the recruiter asked if I could come in 3 days a week. It took ages to get them to confirm remote was actually an option. They kept updating me via LinkedIn messages instead of email, which was a bit irritating. The interview process itself involved a 1:1 with a Director-level PM and then a panel of three 30-minute 1:1s. None of them were the hiring manager and they couldn't give me straight answers about the adtech role. After all that, I got a generic rejection on LinkedIn with no feedback, which was a surprise since I thought it went well. Honestly, the whole recruitment experience was a chaotic mess. If you need clear communication and a well-organized process, maybe reconsider GoPuff.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The hiring process here is really disorganized. The recruiter mentioned it's a long process with 6-7 rounds. They went silent for about a month after I submitted my take-home assignment (which was round 3). I was expecting to review it with the team next. Then, the recruiter reached out to schedule a chat. I asked if it was the review session, and they immediately retracted that email and rescinded my application. I never got to review my work or get any feedback on why I was rejected. The assignment wasn't super hard, but this whole experience felt disrespectful.
