First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goodyear.
Procurement Specialist
after applying on the Goodyear website, HR did a CV selection based on capabilities and work history versus job requirements, then the line manager did an assessment of the CV, and the line manager also built a sample of CV for future interviews. The interview process included an interview with HR, then the line manager and someone equivalent in the role, followed by an interview with the director of the department. Stakeholders for that position could also be requested to interview the final 2 or 3 selected candidates if the role had frequent exposure to them.
- Can you tell me about the Goodyear Values?
- What do you know about Goodyear and its market?
- Could you share a recent achievement you are proud of?
Demand Planner
This is my first stage of interview with goodyear. The interview process is systematic and professional. You can expect a warm, friendly face, a dialogue or question at the beginning, and then straight forward usual interview questions. In the first interview, an HR and dept mgr/head will be present and ask a mix of behavioral and technical questions, but they are few and focused questions. Not an elaborate lengthy interview process at first.
- Describe a time you missed a deadline and explain how you handled it.
Supply Chain Analyst
It was a pretty straightforward process. I had 4 panel interviews, each with 3 interviewers. The whole thing took about 3 weeks, which felt a bit long for an internal role. The pay is good, but the work environment is really messed up.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a manager and how you resolved it.
