The interview process was great and easy. The instructions for the job duties were very understanding, which made the process of employment easy to choose Goodyear as a place of employment for me. I am a former employee who cherished the work relationships built in the shop and office.

It was a classic STAR interview. They wanted to know about my experiences and if I was eager to learn. I got to ask them anything I wanted. I was offered another interview for a job that was more hands-on technically. However, I didn't hear back after either of the interviews.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had one initial recruiter call, and then the second part was the hiring day in Colmar-berg Luxembourg, which included 4 interviews. I interviewed with teammates, HR, two directors, and a department director. The interviews themselves had general questions that weren't too difficult. Then there was a lunch which felt like another interview with some younger folks. The part that really disappointed me was the interview with the department director; it felt unacceptable because of the personal questions asked. After the interviews, we had a nice lunch with some young people, and then a tour of the department where they showed us parts like molds and tires. The travel to Luxembourg was paid for, the department tour was beautiful, and lunch with the young people was nice. However, the personal questions during the interview were inappropriate and disrespected my privacy. It also took 4 months to get to the face-to-face interview, and the 4 back-to-back interviews on the hiring day with no breaks were exhausting and overwhelming.
