Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goodyear.
Management Trainee
This was a two-round interview process. The first round was a screening call where they reviewed my resume and asked for a general introduction. They also explained the profile, which in my case was for a management trainee position. The second round was a direct interview.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Do you have knowledge on quality control and Six Sigma basics?
- Will you be able to handle people who are senior to you like it workers?
Manager
It was a really formal interview, with two people asking me questions for over an hour. They focused a lot on how I deal with certain situations and experiences, and we went deep into compliances and different types of leadership.
- How would you encourage teamwork?
- Can you describe how you handle particular scenarios and past experiences?
- What is your approach to compliance?
Business Manager
The HR reached out to me on LinkedIn. We had a call for about an hour. Then, they asked me to apply on the portal. After that, my profile was rejected in a few days. I don't get why they'd contact me and make me apply just to reject me.
- Could you tell me about your career path?
- Describe a challenging situation you've encountered.
- How have you managed interactions with people from various age groups and diverse backgrounds?
