The interview process included one phone call, one video zoom call with a coworker and manager, and one in-person on-location meeting with a higher-level associate who was also on video. Questions were asked and the process was described. Each of these interviews lasted about 20-30 minutes. Unfortunately, I never heard back after the third interview, and they also didn't answer my email asking about the position. It was posted again on Indeed two weeks later. For $16/hr, they also require a background check and drug testing (including marijuana), and expect flexible working hours outside of normal business hours as the branch requires.

Behavioral

The interview was pretty simple. They were looking for someone reliable, honest, and attentive. They mainly asked about my schedule and if anything would prevent me from being on time for work. I don't have kids or aging parents, but even if I did, it seemed like that wasn't a dealbreaker. They just need someone to handle the register and stock shelves. I liked the job itself, even though the pay isn't great, it was very easy. Just a heads up, the uniform is ugly and management is cold, so if you take the job, don't go for a promotion. Stay low-key. It's an okay job if you're a student or have other things going on and just need something to do for a while.

The recruiter called first and was very nice and kept in touch. Then the recruiter set up another interview with my direct manager and then a third interview with higher ups. It was kind of a lot, but they were okay with doing it over video. Talking to the higher-ups felt like too much and not really needed.

It was a super organized interview process, everyone was really professional and efficient. I talked to the team lead and the director of DEI. They asked some DEI related questions, and also asked for examples of how I've incorporated DEI into my daily life. There were two rounds of interviews.
