Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goodman Solutions.
Project Coordinator
A recruiter from the staffing agency Yoh reached out to me because they found my resume online and thought I'd be a good fit for this role at Goodman Networks. The recruiter reformatted my resume and sent it to me and the client. I had to print it and bring it to the interview. The interview was a panel with 5 people, and it felt rushed, lasting only about 15 minutes. One panelist didn't ask any questions and seemed disengaged. They asked about my past experience and if I knew certain procedures. I didn't get the job offer because the other candidate had more experience, which made sense as it was a temporary, albeit well-paying, position.
- Do you know how to close out jobs?
Project Coordinator
The interview process had two rounds. First, some common questions were answered via email, and then the following week there was a face-to-face interview. It was an interesting interview with both formal and brainstorming questions. The interviewers were friendly but also professional. I interviewed in the morning and got an acceptance call in the afternoon. It was the best interview ever!
- How do you handle cultural diversity in the workplace?
Project Coordinator
I submitted my application online and heard back from a recruiter the very next day. The overall process was straightforward, though it did take some time to secure a second interview. The actual interview felt quite relaxed. Initially, the office atmosphere was very welcoming and pleasant, but things changed for the worse at the start of the year after a new Sr. Manager came on board.
- Can you tell me about your 5-year career goals?
