First, I had a phone screening with a recruiter. Then, a phone interview with the recruiter and the regional manager. After that, I had an in-person interview with the regional director. This involved memorizing scripts and role-playing scenarios. I also had to do a short "fit fix" workout, where it's probably best to act like you don't know what you're doing. Unfortunately, the trainer didn't seem impressed by my age, and I felt it wasn't going to work out. The next day, the recruiter let me know they hired someone internally. It felt like a waste of my time. I probably wouldn't have accepted an offer anyway because of the gym's vibe. This location seems to have high turnover.

I applied for the post and got a phone call the very next day. They asked me some simple questions over the phone, like what are my short-term and long-term goals and how I would sell a membership to a potential customer. Then, I was informed about the interview date and time via email, along with an engagement card. This card had 20 statements, and I had to pick 5 and explain why they were important to me. The interview was with the Divisional Manager and a Talent Acquisition Specialist over the phone, and most questions were asked by the Talent Acquisition Specialist.
