Went through a couple of interviews. It was pretty straightforward. They focused on selling the role and confirming my background. A take-home task was part of it, though it wasn't discussed much afterward.

The hiring manager contacted me for an initial chat. After that, I was given a big assignment to tackle some of their core gaming issues, about 4 of them. I completed and sent them in on time. They said they'd follow up, but never did. Even after I emailed them multiple times over 3 months, they kept giving the same response. It felt like they were getting solutions to their actual problems from candidates, and not bothering to reply. It was really disappointing to realize they took my solutions and didn't even have the courtesy to respond. Their careers page claims they get back to candidates, but that wasn't my experience. I at least deserved some closure.

After applying via email, the HR department quickly reached out with questions about my start date and salary expectations. They also asked me to bring my school certificates and professional reference letters. The next step was a skills test, which was quite easy and I had just enough time to finish it. This step really reflects your work and you want to present yourself as best as possible. The interview itself was very pleasant with typical questions about my past experiences and those related to the job. In my case, there were many technical questions. The interview lasted about an hour, and afterwards, the HR representative showed me the offices. I received an offer a day after the interview, which I accepted after some negotiation.
