Sales Representative
So the process started with a screening, then I met with managers, then we did a role-play, and finally, I had a conversation with the Senior team. The rest of this is for word count, the rest of this is for word count. Why is the minimum a thing?
- What are your hobbies outside of work?
Sales
I had a recruiter screen first, then a call with the hiring manager. The recruiter did most of the talking, like they were reading a script. I didn't get much chance to talk about myself or answer questions. The call didn't seem to have a focus or agenda. The recruiter might have been new to the company or recruiting. The hiring manager just wanted to check boxes on my resume/experience, and the conversation was bad. I'd tell people interviewing to take control of both conversations early so you don't waste time listening to a script.
- Can you describe your current sales process?
Inside Sales Representative
I spoke with a recruiter about their inside sales program to see if it was a good fit for both of us. It ended up not being the right match for me personally, but it appears to be a solid program for what it is, especially as a starting point for technology sales roles involving high-volume outbound prospecting, with a typical career path from setting appointments to becoming an account executive.
- Do you have experience with making over 50 dials daily?
