Product Manager
Scheduling took some time, but once we got it set up, things moved quickly. The interviews involved the product team in Israel, while the recruiters were in the US. The initial recruitment screen was pretty standard. Later on, I had discussions with a Staff PM, some cross-functional interviews with the ops and revenue teams, and a take-home assignment.
- Can you elaborate on your previous work experience?
- Could you detail specific projects you've been involved in?

Product Management Director
It began with some conference calls with the CTO to discuss and clarify the role, since it was a brand new position. After that, I had a series of in-person interviews with important people. It was a really open and upfront process. Once we figured out the role details and that it was a good fit, things moved really fast.
- Can you tell me about a product initiative you managed from its start to getting it into the market?
Product Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter. After a brief chat with HR, they set up a Zoom with the hiring manager. The hiring manager seemed really bored, yawning a lot. They asked me a lot about why I worked at certain places and then showed me their product. They mentioned they track business emails of partners and I mentioned that sounded privacy-invasive. They said they also record calls, and I pointed out they don't give a disclaimer before recording, unlike what's usually done. I think I got on their nerves.
- Can you elaborate on your career changes over time?
- Could you explain your reasoning for working at specific companies in the past?
- What's your perspective on tracking the business emails of your partners?
