First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goldfish Swim School.
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
So basically, I had to fill out an application first, and then I had an in-person interview that was about half an hour. They just asked me some basic stuff, and I got the offer the same day.
- Could you tell me about your biggest role model and the reasons behind that choice?
- What would you identify as your three main weaknesses?
Lifeguard/Swim Instructor
Had 2 short interviews with the deck supervisor and manager. Both were about 30 minutes long and asked pretty simple questions. They asked about my experience, if I had any previous certifications, and how I would go about handling different class scenarios. There is a 40-hour onboarding process and different certificate trainings depending on your position.
- What certifications do you currently hold?
- Can you describe your relevant experience?
- How would you manage various situations that might arise in a class setting?
Instructor
They left me to sit alone for 25 minutes and then left every 5 seconds during interview to do stuff. The actual interview took 8 minutes.
- Do you like working with kids
