Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Golder Associates.
Lab Technician
The interview process was great, they made me feel comfortable. It was pretty chill with basic questions, mostly 'get to know you' type, though there were some technical ones. I first had to submit a video interview, and then I had an interview with the manager and supervisor.
- What makes you want to work at Golder?
Laboratory Technician
I applied online, and about a week later, I had a 30-minute one-way interview where I recorded myself answering about 8-10 questions. These questions were timed, and I had 1-2 takes for each. A week after that, they called me for a second interview, which was online with the lab manager and supervisor. In this round, they talked about my resume experience, explained the job and what's needed, and shared information about the company culture and values. I heard back from them the week after that.

The interview process at Golder was pretty straightforward and not overly challenging. The people were great and seemed genuinely invested in helping candidates succeed. Typically, you'll have two or more interviewers, and honestly, they do a lot of the selling of the company to you. It felt like once you got the interview, you were pretty much in.
