Software Engineer
The interview process took a week. Honestly, the process wasn't great; they seemed unsure about their hiring. It started with a call on a weekday. Then there were 3 rounds, followed by an online test the next day. They called me again on another weekday for the 5th round, where they only asked general project questions, no technical ones. The day after that, they rejected me without giving any reason. It makes you wonder why they'd invite someone for a 5th round on a weekday if they weren't impressed with the previous 4 rounds. Were they just checking if I could show up?
- Can you tell me about the projects you've worked on?
- Do you have any questions about Java?
Software Engineer
It was 3 rounds total. The first two were technical and the last one was an HR round. The first technical round had behavioral questions about my current project. The second technical round focused on architecture and multithreading concepts. The final round was a general HR interview.
- Tell me about your current project and how you handled challenges within it.
- Can you explain some architecture concepts and your experience with them?
- What are your thoughts on multithreading and its implementation?
Software Engineer
So the interview process was like this: First, there was a quantitative aptitude round with 30 questions to be solved in an hour, covering basic topics like time and probability. Then, a technical aptitude round focusing on Java, SQL, and shell scripting. After that, a technical interview where they asked about Java features, collections, multithreading, and SQL concepts like joins and aggregate functions. Finally, an HR interview for basic introductions and salary discussions.
- What are the basics of Java?
- What are the basics of SQL?
- Can you write a program to parse files and excel sheets?
