This was the worst interview experience ever. It involved discussing my past projects to show technical skills. I talked about a project I'm proud of, but instead of focusing on the technical aspects like usual, the interviewer focused way too much on monetizing it or tailoring it for a specific user. They sounded dismissive and said they thought my project had no business value and asked me to agree it was useless. Assessing business value is complex, and it was disheartening how they dismissed it. A more respectful conversation would have been better. Technical discussions should be respectful and open-minded. This felt hostile and unprofessional. I tried to stay composed and polite, but I felt belittled.

I received an interview invitation from the recruiter, but they never actually called me. I sent them several follow-up emails without any response. When I tried to reschedule using the provided link, it no longer worked. This left me wondering why they even invited me if they weren't going to follow through. It was totally unacceptable.

The first step was a chat with the hiring manager, pretty standard phone screen. Then there was a take home test. I submitted it but haven't heard back at all, it's been a week. Assuming I didn't get it, but it's super unprofessional not to reply especially after I spent time on the take home. Even emailed the recruiter and still nothing.
