Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Goettsch Partners.
Architectural Designer
After some back and forth via email, I had an in-person interview. They asked a bunch of questions about what I know, mostly focusing on software I've used.
- Can you elaborate on your proficiency with specific software programs?
- What makes you specifically interested in working at Goettsch?
Architect
The interview process was smooth and professional. I was asked about my experience and knowledge in certain architecture fields. Additionally, they asked me to show my portfolio and professional experience.
- Tell me about your interests in architecture.
- What is your technical knowledge related to architecture?
- Could you present your portfolio?
Architectural Designer
You'll share your portfolio and experience, and answer some questions. You also get to ask them questions. It's a pretty standard interview for an architect. The whole thing takes about an hour. Usually, there's a second round if the main decision-maker couldn't make it to the first one.
- How proficient are you with Revit?
