So I had a two-part interview process. First, I met in person with the manager of the store. Then, I was supposed to have a phone call with the district manager. But since the district manager was actually at the store that day, we did a panel interview all at once, which was pretty efficient. After I accepted their offer verbally, I got the official offer letter like a day later. That kicked off the background check. I had to fill out some stuff online for new hires, and then I started working once everything checked out okay. I really liked this interview process because the store manager made me feel super comfortable right away, even with the district manager there.

For a seasonal position, the interview process was extremely long. I got a call for an interview around 2 weeks later. The first interview was done on one of the mall benches outside the store. It lasted an hour and I was asked every general question possible. Didn't get a call back until the next week for another interview. The second interview asked the same questions and I was hired on the spot. The whole process was much too complicated for a seasonal position.

I applied in person and got a call that same evening because my friend worked there and could vouch for me. We had a group interview the next Monday. On the day, the manager took us (me and two other applicants) to a noisy part of the mall (near Godiva) to see if we could speak up. She asked us about handling unhappy customers, what coworkers think of us, and how we dealt with stress. Then she had us read company policies and a catalogue and 'sell' her a product. I got a call the next day for a second interview with the assistant manager. Back in the noisy area, the AM asked about adapting to changes, going the extra mile for customers, and our proudest work accomplishment. We also had to sell her a product. Both the Manager and AM emphasized customer service, wanting cheerful, attentive but not pushy people who can talk easily.
