So I had this 'Introductory interview' that was supposed to be 20 mins, but ended up being an hour. First thing, they put me in a room for a 15-min assessment, kinda like an IQ test. Then I met this other lady, and she asked me some really basic stuff, like yes/no questions about having a driver's license and then the usual interview questions about my strengths, weaknesses, and salary expectations. She was super stressed, seemed miserable, and like she hated her job, just scribbling down everything I said. She was condescending, rushed me, and made me feel like I was bothering her when I asked questions. It really soured my view of the company.

I almost bailed on my interview after seeing how they expect recruiters to transport workers to job sites in their own cars. But I went for it anyway. Before the interview, I had to fill out an application and do two Wonderlic tests, which were easy. When I got there, the hiring manager greeted me and interviewed me. She was nice and seemed pretty relaxed. The interview took about 30 minutes, which went by fast. The company is small and based in San Diego but is growing. They hire for a lot of jobs, but they really focus on construction placement. The office seemed busy, which is a good sign.

It was an easy process, with a couple of assessments to gauge my intelligence and motivation. The process seemed a bit disorganized, possibly due to understaffing, but it was okay overall. I almost missed the interview because of online reviews, but I decided to go for it. The people were nice and had good intentions. I had a working interview that went well. It was definitely stressful and challenging, but ultimately I felt good about helping people find jobs.
