I reached out to Go-Staff via their online platform regarding an event services position they advertised. The interview process was quite straightforward. It started with a phone call, then an in-person meeting the following week, lasting about 30-40 minutes. We mainly discussed my background, experience, and resume. Afterward, I had to complete some assessments. Once those were reviewed and my references checked out, I was officially added to their event services roster.

Behavioral

I recently had a really positive interview experience with Go-Staff. I initially went in just to get back into the swing of interviewing, as it had been a while since my last one and I wasn't actively looking for a new role. The interviewer made me feel really at ease and re-energized my job search. She pointed out some promising job opportunities that seem like a good fit for me, and I'm thrilled to have found such a great company to kickstart my job search.

I almost bailed on my interview after seeing how they expect recruiters to transport workers to job sites in their own cars. But I went for it anyway. Before the interview, I had to fill out an application and do two Wonderlic tests, which were easy. When I got there, the hiring manager greeted me and interviewed me. She was nice and seemed pretty relaxed. The interview took about 30 minutes, which went by fast. The company is small and based in San Diego but is growing. They hire for a lot of jobs, but they really focus on construction placement. The office seemed busy, which is a good sign.

It was an easy process, with a couple of assessments to gauge my intelligence and motivation. The process seemed a bit disorganized, possibly due to understaffing, but it was okay overall. I almost missed the interview because of online reviews, but I decided to go for it. The people were nice and had good intentions. I had a working interview that went well. It was definitely stressful and challenging, but ultimately I felt good about helping people find jobs.
