Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and had a couple of phone calls with them before the actual interviews, they were really helpful with info. I then had interviews with two senior engineers, but one was just observing. We spent 30 minutes discussing my past experiences with concrete examples, followed by a 30-minute live coding session with my camera on. Both engineers were very nice and supportive during the coding part. Overall, I thought the recruiter and engineers were great, and the whole process was smooth, which is nice for new grads who can get nervous. Communication was prompt, and I got feedback quickly after the interview.

I had an HR phone call, then a take-home assignment, and finally a 4-hour onsite interview. There was a pleasant surprise at the end of the onsite. The office is nice, but most people I met seemed disengaged, with only one interviewer showing genuine interest. It didn't feel like a very engineering-focused company, and the technical part wasn't too challenging. A few days later, the recruiter informed me that I wasn't selected. When I asked for feedback, they stated they have a 'strict no feedback policy,' which confirmed my suspicion from company reviews that they don't prioritize transparency.

I was contacted by a recruiter about a role in Seattle, even though I hadn't applied. I scheduled a call with her, but she didn't show up. After I followed up, she wanted to reschedule. I rearranged my schedule for the new time, and the call seemed to go well. She mentioned she'd connect with the hiring manager and schedule another call, but then I heard nothing more. I sent several follow-ups with no reply. It's disappointing when companies don't provide updates, especially after reaching out to candidates.
