I arrived at the Glossier store before they opened. An employee let me in and I wrote my name and email down to secure my interview time. I could wait in the store or leave and come back. During the interview, the manager was nice and asked some usual interview questions.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied and got a response in a couple days asking me to do a one-sided video interview within 72 hours. The online interview was pretty simple but a little stressful to use. You get questions one by one with a 60-second time limit for each. I couldn't see or edit my answers after sending them, which was tough. After I sent it in, Michaela contacted me a few days later offering an in-person interview on a certain date, but I couldn't make it. I guess they do this to filter people, but I asked if we could do a video interview instead. They said they were on a tight schedule and couldn't do it. Michaela was nice about it, but it makes me think why they needed to hire so fast for this pop-up.

Behavioral Presentation

I went through 3 interviews with Glossier. The first was a phone screen, then a Zoom screen, and the last was a final interview in Boston. I really liked everyone I spoke with, they were super helpful. The first two interviews were mostly basic questions, but the final one was different. It was a panel interview where they focused more on me as a person rather than my work experience.
