I had 2 rounds of interviews. The first was with the recruiter, and the second round had 3 interviewers who were Assistant Directors. Since it's a junior role, the questions were pretty common and general, not too technical.

It's a two phase process. One with HR and another one is technical. They normally ask for entries and some knowledge of AIF funds mainly for US based funds as in Real estate or PE.

The interview was pretty straightforward. Even though it was in-person, they mainly asked fundamental questions. It was mostly about swaps, covering why you'd want to work here, general introductions, and the distinction between future and forward contracts.

The first round was with HR to discuss salary and work hours. They offered a 25% hike, which seemed low but I accepted it to move forward. If you're okay with these terms, they proceed to the next rounds. The second round was with the Lead, covering general testing concepts and work-related questions. The third round was with the Manager, focusing on testing concepts, work experience, challenges, and problem-solving skills. This round felt manageable. The fourth round was with the CEO. It was strange because they asked about my 4th-year BE project, which didn't seem relevant to the role. The CEO also reviewed my entire CV and could ask anything from it. I expected questions related to manual testing, but instead, I was asked about SQL, Selenium, and API testing. It felt like a waste of time and not suitable for experienced candidates.
