Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Globe Telecom.
Intern
I applied by reaching out to the recruiter directly. They set up an interview with the hiring manager right away, so I didn't have to do an HR screen. The interview itself was pretty straightforward. They asked about the stuff on my resume and a few questions about behavior and if I'd be a good culture fit. I got the offer the week after.
- How would you manage juggling different tasks at once?
Intern
The whole process was super fast, took about a week. The HR person was really nice and easy to talk to, and right after that, I met with the manager who was also really chill. I heard back about the job the very same day.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your background?
Intern
I applied for an internship under AGSIP (Ayala Globe Summer Internship Program), and the selection process was quite lengthy. It starts off with an interview with HR then I was invited back to the office to participate in something like a group evaluation. We were divided into groups and tasked to accomplish various activities while being observed by managers and executives. At the end of the day, we were individually interviewed by a panel of managers. Most of the questions were quite standard for an internship, but what stood out from other interview processes was the group assessment.
- Tell me about your greatest achievement.
- Describe your biggest challenge and how you overcame it.
