First, there's an initial phone screen that you get contacted for. Then, they send you a Zoom invite for a group informational session where a video explains how the agency operates. After a few words from the CEO and a key manager, you're put into breakout rooms for a final, personal interview. I'd say it was a low difficulty interview overall.

I was contacted by a recruiter who found my resume online. I was looking for a senior role, given my 7+ years of experience in senior and director positions. Everyone was nice, but it felt like they weren't upfront about the role. The process seemed straightforward, but the interview was a presentation showing how everyone starts at the bottom and works their way up. It was also a 1099 position, which should have been disclosed before the interview.

  • The interviews were conducted in groups, and although there was a brief 1-on-1 interview for about 5 minutes, it began with a self-assessment.
  • Can you present how you see yourself starting from the bottom and working your way up in this company?

The interview was pretty chill. The interviewer was nice, energetic, knew his stuff, and was easy to talk to. I read some negative company reviews but decided to check it out myself. He made it sound doable and like a good career, but definitely didn't say it was easy, pointing out that if it were easy, nobody would make money. Mostly, he talked about the company, his own experience, the job, training, and what to expect. It wasn't like those stressful interviews. I'm going into this expecting it to be tough and ready to put in the work. Hope it works out.
