Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Globe Life.
Business Analyst
It was a pretty standard process: a quick call with the recruiter, then an onsite interview with two team members, and I got the decision within a week. The onsite involved questions about my background, my skillset, and my teamwork abilities.
- Could you describe your level of familiarity with SQL?
Business Analyst
It was really quick. I had two interviews within two days and got started about a week and a half after. I spoke with the team leader first, and then with the manager/director. The team lead was super dry and didn't seem like they actually wanted to interview me. The manager, though, seemed way more into it and asked a lot of questions. Honestly, if I hadn't met with the manager, the team lead would've made me walk away.
- Would you describe yourself as more of an introvert or an extrovert?
Business Analyst
This interview was pretty straightforward. The recruiters seemed impressed with my relatively simple past experiences. The questions were easier than in most interviews I've had, and they weren't the usual behavioral questions. Even though the interview itself was easy, I found the whole experience to be both challenging and rewarding.
- Describe a difficult group project you worked on and explain how you managed it.
