Sales Representative
A recruiter found my resume and called me. After some phone tag, we finally spoke and they set up an interview for the next morning. It turned out to be a group information session, as expected. I met a manager briefly before the group session started. The agency owner gave a presentation for about an hour about the company and the role, which was really inspiring. Afterwards, I had a quick follow-up with the manager to ask questions and share my thoughts. They encouraged me to think of more questions for the second interview. Later that day, I was invited for a one-on-one interview. The manager answered all my questions and gave me a good understanding of the company and my role. I told them I couldn't take the opportunity right now because it's commission-only with no benefits. So, I wasn't offered a third interview since it's not the right time, but we ended on good terms and hope to connect again. I had a really good feeling about the people and the company, and if my situation were different, I would have probably started right away.

- What distinguishes you from other applicants?
- Would you describe yourself as an overachiever?
Sales Representative
I applied online and was selected for an in-person interview. The first round was one-on-one, focusing on character and people skills. Because of my background, I was invited back for a second interview, which was a group session. We watched a video about the company's statistics and pay scale, then completed a survey. We were told we'd hear back by the end of the day if selected for the final interview. I was contacted and asked to confirm I'd be ready to start if offered the job and could pay upfront for licensing testing and educational materials, which cost $49 plus $49. I agreed and was scheduled for the next Monday. I'm waiting for that interview and so far, everyone has been great. I am concerned about the commission-only pay and unsure if training is paid.
- What makes you want this job?
Sales
It was an easy interview process that lasted 3 days. They recruit people by finding resumes online, not caring much about experience. They hire anyone willing to go out and find business, even if it means approaching personal contacts like family and friends for opportunities. During training, if travel requires an overnight stay, the candidate is expected to cover hotel and all other expenses.
- Were all of your questions behavioral in nature?
